Before you enrol
Catchment area
Please ensure you know whether you are in catchment before submitting your enrolment. School catchment information can be checked on the Department of Education Catchment Map.
While many of the students at Marsden State High School come from local primary schools within the catchment area, each year we receive many applications from students who live outside our catchment area. Please contact our Enrolment Team via email: Enrolment@marsdenshs.eq.edu.au or phone (07) 3299 0555 if you are outside of the catchment area before submitting an enrolment application.
If you have been accepted into an Excellence Program this does not apply.
Policies and procedures
Students and parents/caregivers are required to read and agree to the policies set-out by Education Queensland and Marsden State High School before the student enrolment is accepted.
As part of the enrolment process you will need to upload copies of the following documents:

Copy of Birth Certficate
- Copy of Medicare Card
- Two documents showing proof of address
- Copy of latest School Report Card
Additional documents (if required):
- Latest NAPLAN (if student is not from Queensland State School)
- Copy of Passport and VISA (for non-Australian citizens)
- Copy of any Court Orders/Department of Child Safety documents
- Copy of medical or learning reports (e.g ASD, dyslexia diagnosis)
- Copy of medical Action Plans (e.g Asthma, Anaphylaxis)
