School-Managed Device Program

Overview

Take Home Tech@Marsden is part of the school's Digital@Marsden approach to teaching and learning. The Take Home Tech program provides students with a school-managed iPad learning kit for use at school and at home, ensuring consistent access to digital learning tools across classrooms.

Take Home Tech is a fully supported and valued pathway at Marsden State High School. It has been designed to support equity, consistency, and reliability for families who prefer a school-managed device option. Students participating in Take Home Tech are not disadvantaged in their learning, assessment, or access to curriculum resources.

Purpose of Take Home Tech

The Take Home Tech program supports:

  • One-to-one access to digital learning tools
  • Consistency of device access across learning areas
  • Reduced technical management for families
  • Student organisation, independence, and responsibility

Technology is embedded purposefully into learning to enhance teaching and support student engagement.
