The Department of Education is responsible for providing facilities to meet the educational needs of students residing within a school's catchment area. Please read the Enrolment Management Plan to see if you are legible to enrol at Marsden SHS. Enrolments outside of our catchment area cannot be accepted, unless the student is accepted into an Excellence Discipline.
Proof of local residence
For all local catchment enrolment applications, the school requires the provision of sufficient documentary evidence to demonstrate that students seeking to enrol genuinely reside in catchment. The required documentation will differ depending on whether you are a property owner or a lease holder. If you are not the lease holder or property owner, a statutory declaration is required from the lease holder or property owner to prove residence is within catchment in addition to the documents listed below.
- One primary source — a current rental/lease agreement, or rates notice, or unconditional contract of sale.
- One secondary source — a utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent's/legal guardian's name.
