Enrolments

Application for enrolment

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at Marsden State High School. If you would like an enrolment pack, please contact us, including your name and address.

Steps for enrolment

Complete and sign forms 1-7 

Please ensure all forms are signed by guardian and student.

Checklist:

You are required to provide the following documents with Enrolment paperwork?
 
  • Birth certificate.
  • Latest school reports.
  • Custody papers/family court/residency orders.
  • Proof of guardianship.  
  • Proof of residence if unusual circumstance or independent student.
  • Proof of independence (Centrelink).
  • Anecdotal record if a re-enrolment.  
  • Child in care documentation.
  • Proof of address/location (Enrolment management plan).
  • Senior Education and Training (SET) plan (Year 10/11/12 student).
  • Any other information which may assist in your enrolment process eg health, learning or family information.

 

Hand-in complete forms to our school administration team.

  • Appointment times:

    • Students must attend an enrolment interview accompanied by their parents/caregivers. Enrolment interviews occur on a Monday at Marsden State High School, with accepted students commencing school no sooner than Wednesday that same week.

    • Enrolment officer will contact you for an enrolment interview appointment when forms 1-6 are signed & received by school with all attaching paperwork.

Transferring from another School?
Students enrolling from another Queensland high school must obtain an official transfer from their previous school. We will contact your previous school for background information to help us plan for your success.

Enrolment interviews are generally conducted by the school’s enrolment officer. Students who are transferring because of behaviour, attendance or learning engagement difficulties will be interviewed by a Deputy Principal. Students who are enrolling after being excluded from another school will be interviewed by the Executive Principal.
